Parkerville Children and Youth Care

Pindan has proudly donated $288,500 to Parkerville Children and Youth Care, its chosen charity for 2014 to 2016.

The donation, which is the net proceeds from the sale of the Pindan/MBA charity home at River’s Edge in Guildford is the highest amount raised since Pindan began formally affiliating with selected charities since 2007. Staff have also been delighted to hand over an additional $57,500 since 2014, the culmination of internal fundraising efforts.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care was established as an orphanage for local children in 1903 and has grown from humble beginnings to become a nationally recognised specialist provider for children and young people who have suffered abuse.

Pindan’s culture, built on family values, and with its strong focus on partnerships, is a perfect fit for the vital work Parkerville Children and Youth Care do in supporting WA’s most vulnerable children. As recognition of this partnership, a room in Parkerville’s new Child Advocacy Centre will be named after Pindan.
