Trainee Admin Assistant & Document Controller
What is your role at Pindan?
I have two positions at Pindan, one as a Trainee Admin Assistant and the other as a Trainee Document Controller.
What does your role entail?
My two positions, whilst both administrative roles, are very different. The Trainee Admin Assistant role, which is within the maintenance department, requires me to provide general administrative support to the maintenance team, whereas, in the Trainee Document Controller position I am learning how to use document control processes and systems that ensure our project documentation is always current and correct.
What have you learnt/ key take away from your time at Pindan to date?
So far throughout my traineeship I have been able to work in two different positions across two different departments which has shown me that there are many different aspects to administration. I have also been able to develop my skills had the opportunity to work with different people and have learnt multiple computer programs.
What have you enjoyed about working at Pindan?
I have really enjoyed learning more than one role. When I started I wasn’t sure how I was going to go working in an administrative position but over the last 6 months I have become confident and organised in working in both my roles.
How has this role at Pindan Impacted your future/career pathways?
When I started at Pindan I had no idea what to expect but I’m really enjoying both my roles and I am pretty excited to see what’s to come after my traineeship finishes.
