Integrated property and construction group Pindan has begun work on a multi-million dollar redevelopment of Beechboro’s Altone Park Shopping Centre.
The company, which won a 2019 WA Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Award for its expansion and upgrade of Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre, secured the $6.8 million Altone Park design and construct contract late last year.
The Centre, at 161 Altone Park Rd, is currently home to Woolworths and more than 20 specialty stores.
The project, being handled for owners Firmus Capital and managed by Graham Nash at Savills, will pave the way for a number of new retail outlets to open.
We are thrilled to be part of this exciting upgrade at Altone Park Shopping Centre and to be working with Hames Sharley Architects once again.James Allingame, Pindan’s Business Development Manager
“As well as a number of new specialty retailers, the redevelopment will make way for the opening of a new ALDI supermarket, which we are constructing, so it’s a great addition to the local community.”
A refurbishment of the existing centre mall will also form part of the project and there will be a new entry created.
Pindan’s work at Wanneroo Central also paved the way for an opening of an ALDI Supermarket, and the group completed construction of the ALDI supermarket in Ellenbrook in 2016.
The Altone Park redevelopment is expected to be finished later this year.
