‘New Era’ Mirrabooka Aged Care, Retirement Facility Unveiled

A new $60 million aged care and retirement living facility is set to open its doors this month in Mirrabooka.

MYVISTA Mirrabooka, on the corner of Mirrabooka Avenue and Reid Highway, combines 112 residential aged care places with 45 retirement living apartments.

Integrated property and construction group Pindan, which has extensive experience in building such projects where the specifications require a highly-specialised skill set, constructed the seven-storey development over the past 20 months.

“As well as the homes and care facilities, MYVISTA Mirrabooka features medical and wellness services, including a salon, as well as a pharmacy, pool and office space, and future space for a café” said Pindan Business Development Manager James Allingame.

“Having worked extensively in this sector in WA, it’s easy to see that this represents a new era in retirement living and aged care for the local area, where much of what residents need is at their fingertips or very close by.”

The facility offers two and three bedroom apartments, each with two bathrooms, which are modern, bright and spacious, boasting high-end finishes, outdoor entertaining spaces and secure parking. They are also pet-friendly.

MYVISTA Aged Care Chairman, Tony Vallelonga, said he was thrilled to see this exciting project come to life.

“We are delighted that MYVISTA Mirrabooka is now a key part of the landscape of the local area which has a strong community focus and wonderful amenities, making it ideal for older residents looking to stay connected and active,” he said.

“The quality of the building is first-rate and we are grateful for the wonderful partnership with Pindan, Total Project Management and architects, Silver Thomas Hanley, in bringing this development to fruition.”

MYVISTA CEO Irene Mooney said: “This outstanding development, with its modern facilities, will enhance the quality of life and care on offer to local residents as they age, and we are so pleased to be officially launching it to the community.”

Mr Allingame said the integrated aged care precinct demonstrated how a truly collaborative approach could deliver excellence.

Our long-term relationship with the Total Project Management’s Tony Papalia and Sheldon Turner was a key factor in the success of this project, as well as the close working relationship we built with MYVISTA’S dedicated Project Management team and we look forward to partnering with them again
