With a strong national order book and positioning itself to capitalise on an increase in State Government stimulus investment in housing, commercial and infrastructure projects, Pindan has expanded its executive team.
The integrated property and construction group has appointed Nick Cater – a former Director at Broad Construction and ADCO Construction Regional Manager – as Director of Construction.
Mr Cater will oversee the group’s larger Perth construction projects and its New South Wales construction business, including the completion of a new headquarters for the WA branch of the Returned and Services League on St Georges Terrace, the design and construction of the luxury Otto Apartments in Cremorne, and aged care provider Rosewood’s new $70 million residential care facility in West Perth.
Pindan Managing Director Scott Davison said Nick’s addition to the team would help enable Pindan’s further growth across the country.

“In readying for this, Simon Greenlaw will now take on the role of General Manager of Pindan Projects and use his extensive knowledge and experience in this specialised construction division to drive that as a growth area, increasing our presence and market share in the sector.”
Pindan Projects incorporates the group’s South West operations and covers construction projects ranging from single and grouped residential housing to low rise apartment developments, as well as small to medium commercial and Government projects.
Included in its current workload is the construction of a new multi-purpose aquatic centre for Corpus Christi College in Bateman and the delivery of $7.5 million new homes and facilities throughout Perth for WA’s Department of Communities.
Pindan’s Build division is managed by Pindan Group Executive Director Tony Gerber and Jaco van Staden remains as Director Pindan Contracting, overseeing North West WA and mining-related projects.
Mr Cater is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building, Fellow of Engineers Australia & WA Registered Builder and has extensive experience in the construction of commercial, aged care, health care and residential projects in the Perth market. Nick has delivered a number of key projects including Alluvion commercial office tower, Regis Hollywood and Ramsay Health Care Joondalup Health Precinct.
