Work begins on Harmony Apartments in Cockburn Central

Works have started on an apartment development offering top value for buyers wanting to be close to the action at Cockburn Central.

Builder Pindan has poured the slab at the Harmony Apartments site on the corner of Lake Road and Kentucky Court, across the road from the $109 million Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Facility that will be home to the Fremantle Dockers.
The PRDnationwide development will comprise 234 apartments and ground-floor commercial spaces. A communal swimming pool is planned.
The apartments will feature stone kitchen benchtops, high ceilings and airconditioning. Residents will have one covered parking bay.
Almost two-thirds of the 77 apartments priced from $350,000 in stage one have sold and residents are expected to start moving in late next year.

The floor plans were designed to maximise living areas, providing a range of apartments to suit various lifestyles.

PRDnationwide Perth managing director Angus Murray said the complex’s location, with the shopping centre and train station in walking distance, would offer major appeal to young professionals who wanted to enter the property market while being close to the action.
“Cockburn Central has really grown in the past few years and has everything within reach, with more still to come,” he said.
“Sales have already been strong but as Harmony Apartments take shape, the design, look and location will ensure this address is in high demand.”
City of Cockburn Mayor Logan Howlett said the start of the complex’s construction provided another tick of approval from the public for the developments and plans in and around Cockburn Central.
“People are sharing the City of Cockburn’s vision for the area and are clearly wanting to be a part of it,” he said.
