Pindan Awarded Almost $20m of NSW Work
Perth-founded property group Pindan has added to its growing presence on the east coast with two design and construct contracts in NSW.
The contracts comprise work on a $6.4 million apartment development in Cremorne
on Sydney's lower north shore as well as a $13.5 million contract for an office and storage facility in Belmont, south of Newcastle.
Pindan business development manager James Allingame said the group’s Sydney-based construction team was already at work on the Otto Apartments by Winim Developments, which feature eight boutique two- and three-bedroom apartments over four storeys, as well as basement parking.
Pindan and Winim have previously worked together on the $37 million East Lane mixed-use development
in North Sydney, as well as retail and commercial space completed in 2018.
The second project win, an office and storage facility, is located on Bluebell Street in Belmont’s industrial precinct, home to national retailers Bunnings and Kennards, as well as Caltex and Hungry Jack’s.
Pindan was established in Perth in 1977 and last October was taken over by Singaporean developer Oxley Holdings, after founders George Allingame and David Pringle announced their retirement.
