The Project will provide a new Civic, Library / Community Hub, and Administration Building on the site of the existing Council Building in Fremantle. This element forms a part of the overall Kings Square Renewal Project, a $280m investment in the historic heart of Fremantle.
The construction of the Civic Building, Library and Community Hub is the largest investment made by the Principal in the city. It is a bespoke building, designed by the local architect, Kerry Hill Architects.
The construction site is bounded by a number of historic and heritage listed buildings including the Old Town Hall and St Johns Anglican Church, which will be protected for the duration of the Project.
