The new Integrated Marine Operations Centre (IMOC) Control Tower has the capacity to house nine full time staff members and new (best practice) VTS technology which is essential for future operational requirements.

The IMOC replaces the existing Control Tower and enables the Principal to improve marine operations through the safe and efficient access of vessels to the Inner Harbour.

The IMOC includes a Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) Centre that controls the working operation of the Port, vessel movements through the channel, off shore anchorages and (in the future) incorporate developments in the Outer Harbour.
