Phase 2

The works comprised of demolition of existing Rehabilitation Ward Block, Podiatry and Speech (Block 2 and 3). Construction of a new Acute Services and Medical Imaging Building including new forecourt and amended verge parking along Piccadilly Street. Install new mechanical & electrical equipment to the Children’s Ward basement including construction of a new switch room and such other work. The Kalgoorlie Health Campus was successfully delivered to the State on Time and within budget. The project was undertaken within an existing and operating hospital site and completed to a high quality of workmanship through professional and competent construction management.

Phase 3A

Refurbishment of upper and lower ground levels of the old medical imaging/x-ray departments (eastern side) and relocation of the medical records department to be side by side with the new emergency department.

Phase 3B

Refurbishment of upper and lower ground levels of old emergency department (western side). Refurbishment to house new cancer centre on lower ground with space for four chemotherapy chairs and a single room with bed for more intensive treatment. Access will also be made for a group room and consult rooms. Rooms created for visiting specialist outpatient clinics, audiology, podiatry and dietetics. Relocation of PATS to lower ground floor. All consult rooms will support Telehealth facilities. A purpose built allied health department including treatment and rehabilitation facilities.
