Pindan completed the construction of the HMAS Stirling which is located on Garden Island south of Perth which has a range of specific requirements relating to its marine location and the natural environment.

Garden Island is also referred to as Fleet Base West for its significant role for the Navy in the vicinity of the Indian Ocean. The project consisted of 268 quarters over 21/3 storey buildings consisting predominately of Precast concrete Panel and external lightweight. The project required specific architectural and heritage guidelines for the site and some new standards relating to the delivery of Level 5 accommodation were set for this project.

Campbell Barracks, home to the Special Air Services Regiment (SASR), is situated in the Perth suburb of Swanbourne on the shore of the Indian Ocean 10 kilometres west of the Perth Central Business District.

The project consists of 60 individual living quarters over 5/3 story buildings consisting predominately of Precast concrete Panel and external lightweight A significant constraint of the site is the location of a ‘smart’, patrolled security fence which actively prohibits unauthorised access into Campbell Barracks. Due to the location of the fence, there is only one vehicle access point into the licensed area from the east.
