Buyers taken to new heights in Kardinya
Works are about to commence that will pave the way for stage two of Kardinya’s newest residential estate, The Heights.
The precinct, which overlooks Alan Edwards Park, includes 107 house and land packages.
Pindan Realty project sales manager Matthew Smith said the estate had proved popular with buyers keen to snap up a new home in the well-established and tightly-held suburb.
“Downsizers and couples in particular have sought out The Heights for its peaceful surroundings and the ultra-convenient lifestyle it offers, with Fremantle’s cappuccino strip and beaches just 8km away and the CBD only 12km away,” he said.
“Buyers like that they can choose from either a single or double-storey home – and select their interior colour scheme – as well as live in an area they love in a brand new, low-maintenance house because traditionally Kardinya has offered mostly older homes for sale.”
Mr Smith said the redevelopment of Kardinya Park Shopping Centre, which is 250m from the estate, was adding to The Heights’ appeal.
“Garden City shopping centre, Murdoch University, Bibra Lake and its adventure playground, Fiona Stanley Hospital and the Murdoch train station are all right on your doorstep too,” he said.
Christopher Grierson and Lana Glasson moved into their three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at the estate in March.
“It’s such a well-established suburb that the traditional blocks were out of our price range,” said Mr Grierson.
“This is the perfect size, the perfect location and we like that it’s brand new.
“And it’s such a quiet street. It’s a crescent, so there’s no through traffic and there’s green and birds everywhere.”
The Heights’ double-storey display home at 23 Buckingham Crescent is open Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 3.30pm or by appointment.
It is for sale with a lease back option.
